Safety

Think and act in a safe manner. Always disconnect power and use a lockout before you work on the E-coat system, or any of the related subsystems. Observe any confined space conditions. Use the appropriate safety equipment and clothing for the task. Please carefully read all the instructions listed below to familiarize yourself with the project before attempting to perform any of the work.

Required Materials

  • 5/16 Bolt SS (4 each)
  • 5/16 Nut SS (4 each)
  • 5/16 Washer SS lock or compression (4 each)

Required Tools

  • ½” Wrench (2 each)

Step 1

IMPORTANT – Do not open the air tight bag until the Membrane Shell is ready to be installed.

Step 2

Carefully remove the roof Cell from the air tight, sealed bag. To avoid damaging the Cell, do not use anything sharp to open the bag.

Step 3

Carefully remove the white paper towels from the Membrane Shell. The towels were used to keep the Membrane moist during the shipment. Use rubber gloves to remove the paper towels. To avoid damaging the Membrane, do not use any sharp objects to remove the paper towel.

Step 4

Place the Cell on its side to avoid damaging the Membrane or the tab. Do not lay it flat.

Step 5

Use only stainless steel hardware when installing the roof Cell.
