Safety

Think and act in a safe manner. Always disconnect power and use a lockout before you work on the E-coat system, or any of the related subsystems. Observe any confined space conditions. Use the appropriate safety equipment and clothing for the task. Please carefully read all the instructions listed below to familiarize yourself with the project before attempting to perform any of the work.

General

Use the attached form, daily, to record important parameter values of the TECTRON Membrane Electrode System (this must be filled out every time a Tectron Cell is installed). NOTE: Record the parameters for only the largest part and/or fastest conveyor/cycle time. UFSc is interested in recording the peak or highest current seen for each day’s worth of operation. In some cases, these parameter values are already recorded on another form, so this form becomes redundant. Keep these and all other daily data recording sheets in a secure and safe place. UFSc service personnel require data from when the system was new or at some other point in the history of the system. In addition to these parameter values, important ED paint parameters, such as temperature, %NV, pH, etc. are to be recorded. See your ED paint supplier for more information.
